Jharkhand High Court mentioned Mahabharata and Vedas in the dispute between father and son, know the whole matter

The matter is of Koderma district, where 60-year-old Devki Sao lives with his elder son. He had divided his fields equally between his two sons. Recently, Devki Sao had filed a petition in the family court (Koderma Family Court) of the district itself. Through the petition, he had requested to provide maintenance allowance to his younger son Manoj Saav. While hearing the case, the Family Court of Koderma directed Manoj to pay alimony of Rs 3000 per month to his father. However, Manoj did not do this and challenged the order of the Family Court in the High Court. Challenging the decision of Koderma Family Court, Manoj claimed that his father had many sources of income. in this case Jharkhand High Court Justice Chand said that it is the duty of a son to take care of his parents.
