Normal life has been completely affected due to continuous rains in various areas of Sahibganj district for three consecutive days. Here, Manmati Devi, wife of Chandrika Choudhary, who was sleeping under the house, got seriously injured when the house collapsed in Nunagach Tola of Raksi Panchayat due to intermittent torrential rains for the last four days in Ramkanda block area of Garhwa district. Whereas all the items kept inside the house got destroyed due to the debris of the house. In the same village, the houses of Dhanuk Bhuiya and Jitendra Ram were damaged due to rain. Apart from this, the house of Haider Mansoori in Birajpur village and Jahrul Ansari, Mobarak Ansari in Baligarh village collapsed due to heavy rain.

Normal life has been completely affected due to continuous rains in various areas of Sahibganj district for three consecutive days. After the torrential rains on Wednesday night, about 3 feet of water started flowing rapidly near the Jhapai bridge due to the descent of mountain water on the Tinpahar-Rajmahal main road. Due to this, traffic on the main road was disrupted for about 4 hours. While more than 10 nearby villages including Tinpahar lost contact with the sub-divisional headquarters, people going to Borio and Godda from the Rajmahal side also faced a lot of trouble. Had to travel an additional distance of about 30 to 40 kilometers via the other route. Rajmahal is the main lifeline road of Tinpahar through which people mainly come to the sub-divisional office, block office and registration office including sub-divisional hospital. Apart from this, this road connects to Sahibganj Govindpur Highway road through which people travel their long journey. Darla village of Rajmahal has also lost contact with Teen Pahad Bazaar and Rajmahal. There were long queues of vehicles on both directions on the main road.
Essential services affected
The movement of ambulances, school vehicles, domestic gas distribution vehicles, petrol diesel tankers and other vehicles was affected. Due to which people had to face a lot of trouble. The wall of the mud house of Sugiya Mosomat collapsed due to rain in Beldarchak East Tola of Lalmati Panchayat of Rajmahal block area. It is being told that he has suffered a serious injury to his leg. Mohd Irshad’s mud house near Lalmati railway gate has been damaged due to wall collapse. The house is not fit for living. In Kanhaiyasthan of Saidpur Panchayat, the roof of a woman’s mud house collapsed as the wall collapsed.
