Jharkhand: Hearing on anticipatory bail of suspended IAS Pooja Singhal’s husband Abhishek Jha completed in High Court, verdict reserved

Ranchi. The court of Justice Gautam Kumar Chaudhary of Jharkhand High Court heard the anticipatory bail petition filed by Abhishek Jha, husband of suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal, accused in the money laundering case. During the hearing in the case, the court heard the side of the applicant and the respondent Enforcement Directorate (ED). After completion of the hearing in the case, the court reserved its verdict.

Earlier in the court of Jharkhand High Court Justice Gautam Kumar Chaudhary, advocate Indrajit Sinha and advocate Vibhas Sinha presented their side on behalf of the applicant. He told that in this case charge sheet has been filed after completing the research by ED. In such a situation, he has requested to provide the facility of anticipatory bail.

It is noteworthy that Abhishek Jha, husband of suspended IAS Pooja Singhal of Jharkhand, has filed an anticipatory bail petition. The ED has named seven people, including suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal, her husband Abhishek Jha, CA Suman Kumar, as accused in the money laundering case related to the MNREGA scam. ED has also filed a charge sheet against them.
