On the one hand, in Jharkhand, hundreds of students who have passed diploma, degree and post graduation in Yoga from many other universities including Ranchi University are waiting for employment. On the other hand, the Jharkhand Health Department is restoring 217 youths who have received week-long training as yoga instructors in 15 districts.
The said youth has taken a week-long training (under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)) from the Art of Living organization in Health and Wellness Center under the National Health Mission. Under National Health Mission, Comprehensive Primary Health Care- Health A letter has been sent to all civil surgeons of Jharkhand to appoint these 217 youths in 15 districts by the State Nodal Officer of End Wellness Center.
District-wise list of youth has also been attached with the letter. It has been said that the youth who have done RPL are trained under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. With the help of Health and Wellness Center, Yoga has become necessary in view of the health, stress, anxiety, depression of the people of the society. It is an ideal exercise for persons of all ages.
The issue of shortage of yoga instructor in the Health and Wellness Center has been arising, in such a situation, this deficiency can be filled with the help of the instructor provided by the Individual Development Center. All civil surgeons have been instructed that for any kind of information, they can contact nodal officers LR Pathak and Dr. Sushant Aggarwal.
Will get Rs 250 per hour:
There is a provision to give about Rs.250 per hour to the yoga instructor provided by the Vyakti Vikas Kendra. In Jharkhand, including Ranchi University, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Vinoba Bhave University, Kolhan University, Ramakrishna Mission University, Sarala Birla University and other universities and institutions, diploma, graduate and post-graduate studies in yoga are being conducted.
Along with this, students are also passing out every year. Only from Ranchi University (year 2017) about 260 postgraduate students and about 174 diploma students have passed. However, many of these students are also working as yoga trainers in various private schools. While the result of the final batch of graduate is going to be out soon. The aggrieved students say that yoga instructor is being appointed in the state, but no application was ever sought in this regard.
