Governor CP Radhakrishnan will be the special guest at the 43rd convocation of IIT ISM. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is the chief guest in the program. On Tuesday, the institute’s director Prof JK Patnaik and deputy director Prof Dheeraj Kumar met the Governor and invited him for the convocation ceremony. The Governor has accepted the invitation. Before the convocation ceremony to be held on December 10, Governor CP Radhakrishnan is the chief guest at the foundation day ceremony of IIT ISM on December 9. Now the Governor will participate in both the programs of the institute.
Preparations are being finalized
IIT ISM The management is busy finalizing the preparations for the convocation ceremony. About 1400 students have registered to get degree in this. Those students who are unable to attend the ceremony will have to register online to receive the degree by post. The management is making arrangements for the students and their families to stay in different hostels during the function. Students participating in the convocation will have to report to the institute by 4 pm on December 9. The convocation ceremony will begin in the morning on 10th December. However, the main program will start at 5 pm with the arrival of the Vice President.
This will be the dress code of students
The dress code for boys for the convocation is off white cream kurta and pajama (preferably churidar) and formal sandals with stole. If students wish, they can wear light colored khadi, wool jackets and sweaters. Students will be given stalls in the institute. Girls should wear off white cream salwar kameez (preferably churidar) or off white saree with matching clothes and stole and appropriate footwear. If she wants, she can wear light colored khadi, woolen jacket, sweater.
