Jharkhand: Eight year old child kidnapped from Hazaribagh, ransom demand of Rs 5 lakh, four accused arrested

Chalkusha (Hazaribagh) Izhar Hussain: An eight-year-old child has been kidnapped from Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand. Criminals kidnapped him from his shop located at Chandni Chowk in Chalkusha block on Wednesday evening. The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh over the phone for their release. On receiving information from family members, the police took immediate action and arrested four people. The accused are being questioned by the police. The child has not been recovered yet.

Deepak Sav kidnapped from shop

Deepak Sao, eight-year-old son of Dinesh Sao from Chandni Chowk of Chalkusha block of Hazaribagh district, went missing from his shop on Wednesday evening. The worried family members searched for him at many places, but could not find any trace of him. Eventually the family informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the police rushed to the spot and arrested four people on the basis of mobile location and are interrogating them, but till now the child has not been recovered.

Four accused arrested

It is being told that on Wednesday night at around 8:30 pm, Dinesh Sao received a call from the kidnapper on 7739661579 and a ransom of Rs 5 lakh was demanded. The ransom amount was asked to be sent to PhonePe on this number. The boy’s mother Chameli Devi informed this to Chalkusha police station at around 9:30 pm. After receiving the information, the police of Chalkusha police station swung into action and arrested four people on the basis of mobile location. Interrogation of the accused is going on.
