Giridih, Mrinal: Giridih Police is continuously getting success in the raid campaign being conducted against cyber criminals. For the last 4 months, swift action is being taken against cyber criminals. In this sequence, 128 cyber criminals have been arrested. In this series, raid operations were conducted in different police station areas. cyber fraud Police have arrested 8 criminals. They used to cheat pregnant women in the name of providing them maternity benefits. SP Deepak Kumar Sharma gave this information in a press conference. In the raid team, apart from Cyber DSP Sandeep Suman Samdarshi, Cyber Station Incharge Ajay Kumar, Police Sub Inspector Saroj Mandal, Police Sub Inspector Roshan Kumar, Police Sub Inspector Subal De, Gaurav Kumar, Assistant Sub Inspector Sanjay Mukhiyar, Constable Saket Verma, Saurabh Kumar, Jitendra Nath Mahato, Suresh Yadav, Ashutosh Kumar Ranjan etc. were included.
Mobile and laptop recovered from cyber criminals
Among the arrested cyber criminals, Deepak Kumar of Khedwara of Birni police station area, Dinesh Kumar Mandal of Jodasimar of Ahilyapur police station area, Rahul Kumar Mandal of Katvira of Tundi police station area, Pawan Mandal of Satish Kumar of Nimatand of Tundi, Mantu of Upraili Kahui of Gawan police station area. Kumar Sahu, Prem Kumar Mandal of Pandaramnia of Birni police station area and Rupesh Kumar Verma of Budhwatand of Mufassil police station area are included. Police have recovered 20 mobiles, 25 SIM cards, 4 ATM cards, one passbook, one PAN card, one Aadhar card and one laptop from these cyber criminals.
Thugs are adopting new methods of cheating
Giridih SP Deepak Kumar Sharma said that the police is working under zero tolerance to end cyber crime and the team formed under the leadership of Cyber DSP Sandeep Suman Samdarshi is getting success in arresting cyber criminals every day. He told that the eight cyber criminals have been arrested. All those cyber criminals used to cheat pregnant women by calling their mobile phones through Poshan Tractor with the promise of providing them maternity benefits and also used to cheat people by pretending to be fake bank officers. Apart from this, all these cyber criminals used to cheat people of money by sending obscene videos on their mobiles, recording them and blackmailing them.
128 cyber criminals arrested in four months
In the last four months, Giridih Police has so far succeeded in arresting 128 cyber criminals. 316 mobile phones, 335 SIM cards, 117 ATM-passbooks, 7 checkbooks, 9 PAN cards, 8 Aadhar cards, 17 vehicles, 3 iPads, 2 laptops and Rs 12,99, 210 in cash have been recovered from these people.
