Jharkhand: ED’s major action in land fraud case, three plots worth Rs 161 crore attached, new charge sheet filed

Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday attached plots worth Rs 161 crore in the land fraud case. Three plots worth over Rs 161 crore have been attached by the ED in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi as part of its money laundering probe related to a case of land grab and cheating. ED has also filed a new charge sheet in this case.

ED summons CM Hemant Soren for the third time

Central agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) has called Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren twice for questioning in this case, but he has not appeared before it. Today on Friday, summons has been issued to CM Hemant Soren for the third time. Let us tell you that a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on their behalf against the action of ED.

three plots temporarily attached

The commercial value of these three plots located at Cheshire Home Road, Pugru and Siram in Ranchi is Rs 161.64 crore. ED said in a statement that they have been temporarily attached under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

14 accused arrested so far
