Ranchi: Ed (Enforcement Directorate) officials reached Berlin Hospital in Bariatu, Ranchi on Tuesday. It is being told that they have come to get information related to the land. Many are being summoned continuously. Inquiry is being done.
ED is investigating many scams
ED is currently investigating about half a dozen scams in Jharkhand. Of these, after summons and interrogation, about one and a half dozen accused are behind the bars. The accused are still being summoned in many cases. In many cases the accused are being interrogated, while many accused are in jail. ED officials are investigating land scam, illegal mining, MNREGA scam, liquor scam and other cases. In these cases, accused suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal, former Ranchi DC IAS officer Chhavi Ranjan, power broker Prem Prakash, Pankaj Mishra and other accused are in jail.
