Jharkhand: ED arrested Prem Prakash, case of sale and purchase of land by forgery

Ranchi, Shakeel Akhtar. On Friday, ED arrested Prem Prakash in the case of sale and purchase of land by forgery. Earlier, he was presented physically in the court of special judge of PMLA. The court ordered him to be produced in the court on August 11 at 11 am. The court passed this order in the light of the production warrant filed by the ED to produce him in the court.

Prem Prakash is already in jail in money laundering case

However, Prem Prakash is already lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail on charges of money laundering in illegal mining. After being produced in the court on August 11, ED arrested him in the case of purchase and sale of land by forgery.

Vishnu Agarwal already on remand

Vishnu Agarwal is currently on remand in connection with the purchase and sale of land at Cheshire Home Road and the process of recording his statement is underway. The ED had found the involvement of Prem Prakash in the investigation in the case of sale and purchase of land on Cheshire Home Road. It was found in the investigation that Gangadhar Rai was made the owner of the land by forgery in the document kept in the registry office in Kolkata. After this the land was sold to Puneet Bhargava after taking power of attorney from his successor Rajesh Rai. Puneet Bhargava had sold the land from Vishnu Agarwal after buying it. Prem Prakash got Rs 1.5 crore in this case of sale and purchase of land.
