Jamtara, Umesh Kumar: Four people died due to lightning in Chandadih-Lakhanpur village of Narayanpur police station area of Jamtara district. The incident took place on Sunday evening at 7 pm. According to the information, the Banjara family of Kursila village of Purulia district of West Bengal was living in tents in Chandadih-Lakhanpur village for some days. There are total seven people in the family. Four people died on the spot when lightning struck their tent late Sunday evening. The deceased include Neha Chaudhary (33 years), Ankit Chaudhary (11 years), Gagan Chaudhary (05 years) and Iksha Chaudhary (10 months). All four who died due to lightning belonged to the same family. All were from Dhunu Chaudhary’s family. However, after the incident, everyone was brought to CHC Narayanpur by 108 ambulance, where the doctors declared them dead after examination. It is being told that these people were watching videos in the tent. Meanwhile, death rained from the sky and all four died on the spot.
