Jharkhand: Criminals fearless in Ranchi, robbed of lakhs of rupees from builder’s employee on distillery bridge in broad daylight

Once again the criminals have become fearless in the capital. On Thursday afternoon at 03:15 pm, two criminals riding on a black colored Pulsar looted Rs 6.21 lakh from Ranjit Yadav, an employee of builder Hitendra Singh, at the Distillery bridge. The victim was going to Tiwari Street Yash Construction Office located in Jotalaab Mohalla after withdrawing money from ICICI Bank located in Amaravati Complex of Ranjit Lalpur. During this incident happened.

After withdrawing money from the bank, the employee left for Joda Talab via Ranjit Peace Road. Both the criminals riding the Pulsar started following him. Both the criminals were wearing helmets. The employee riding the bike was going comfortably hanging the bag containing money in the handle. Meanwhile, criminals riding a Pulsar on the distillery bridge rammed the employee’s bike from behind.

Due to this, the employee got injured after hitting the divider of Ranjit Distillery bridge. After this, a criminal got down from the bike and started trying to run away by taking out the employee’s bag full of notes. During this, the employee also scuffled with the criminal, but he could not stop the criminal. According to Ranjit, the registration of the flat of PRD worker Omprakash’s sister Pragya Tiwari was to be done on Friday. He had given a check of six lakh rupees to buy the stamp. He went to the bank to withdraw the money of the same cheque.

After the incident someone informed the police. Lalpur police reached the spot and got the employee treated at RIMS. On the complaint of the employee Ranjit, the police has started the investigation by registering an FIR. City DSP Deepak Kumar also reached the spot and inquired about the incident. Ranjit Yadav lives in a rented house near Khelgaon. Whereas, there is also the house of Hitendra Singh, director of Yash Construction, in Gaadi village.

Criminals were waiting

In the investigation, it has come to light that the criminals already knew that Ranjit Yadav would come out after withdrawing a huge amount from the bank. Both the criminals riding the Pulsar were already present under the jewel house. A criminal was sitting on the Pulsar. Whereas, the other was standing at the gate. As soon as Ranjit came down after withdrawing the money from the bank and hung the bag containing the notes on the handle of his bike, then the other criminal standing near the gate came on the Pulsar and sat with his partner.

Both move towards Dangra Toli by bike. But, the criminal sitting behind sees that Ranjit is going towards the peace road, so both the criminals also enter the peace road. Both execute the incident on the distillery bridge. This incident is captured in CCTV.

In the investigation of Lalpur police, it has come to the fore that after executing the incident at Distillery Bridge, the criminals went towards Kantatoli Road via Kokar Chowk. But instead of going to Kantatoli, he turned towards Khorha Toli and went ahead.

Outside gang has executed the incident

Looking at the CCTV footage, it seems that the incident was carried out by an outside gang. The criminals were chasing Ranjit Yadav from the bank itself. SIT has been formed under the leadership of City DSP Deepak Kumar to nab the criminals.
