Latehar: Coal businessman, Latehar Zilla Parishad’s former Vice President co-BJP leader Rajendra Sahu murder case has been disclosed by the Latehar police. Rajendra Sahu was murdered due to money transaction with TSPC militant organization. Rajendra Sahu was murdered at the behest of TSPC’s Regional Committee member Avashav Ganjhu. In this case, Latehar police has arrested four accused including two shooters. Four pistols, 30 live bullets, four magazines, four mobile phones, a motorcycle, a router, two T-shirts, a trouser and a pot have been recovered from them. Before killing Rajendra Sahu, all the militants were doing Reiki since a week ago. On August 12 also, two shooters riding a motorcycle had reached there. SP Anjani Anjan gave this information in a press conference on Saturday.
TSPC used to work as sleeper cell of militant organization
Among the four people arrested by the Latehar police, Jitendra Vishwakarma father Basant Vishwakarma (Bardiha, Garhwa), Shivpujan Singh alias Motka father Sudama Singh (Ganiyari Khurd, Dhurki, Garhwa), Ashwini Kumar Singh alias Buchchan father Shriraj Kumar Singh (Bodra , Mazhiyaan, Garhwa), Kuldeep Ganjhu’s father is a resident of Mangar Ganjhu (Semersot, Balumath). The four arrested were working as a sleeper cell of the TSPC militant outfit.
Latehar police recovered these items including weapons
Latehar police have recovered four pistols, 30 live bullets, four magazines, four mobile phones, a motorcycle, a router, two T-shirts, a trouser and a pot used in the incident.
Reiki was done before the murder
Latehar SP Anjani Anjan told that before killing Rajendra Sahu, all the militants were doing Reiki since a week ago. On August 12 also, two shooters riding a motorcycle had reached there. Meanwhile, Rajendra Sahu got suspicious of both the shooters and after chasing them caught both the criminals near Doon Central School located in Jhariva Tola. During this, he started clashing with the criminals. During this, the criminals opened fire, due to which Rajendra Sahu got four bullets. He died on 14 August during treatment.

In this raid, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Balumath Ajit Kumar, Police Inspector Shashi Ranjan Kumar, Puani co-station in-charge Prashant Prasad, Herhanj police station in-charge co-puani Shubham Kumar, Manika police station in-charge under police inspector Rana Bhanu Pratap Singh, Barwadih police station in-charge Srinivas Singh, Nitish Kumar, Puani Kuber Kumar, Puani Dheeraj Kumar, Balumath Police Station Under Inspector Kailash Bada, Chandwa Police Station Under Inspector Dharmendra Kumar Mahato, Manika Police Station Under Inspector Rajkumar Tigga and armed forces personnel were included.
Rajendra Sahu’s bodyguard suspended
Rajendra Sahu’s bodyguard has been suspended in the case of BJP leader cum coal businessman Rajendra Sahu being shot dead by the militants of TSPC organization. The SP told that this incident would not have happened had Rajendra Sahu been with his bodyguard. He said that the police investigation is going on.
