Jharkhand: CM Champai Soren warned, if the work is not completed on time, penalty will have to be paid.

Chief Minister Champai Soren has said that all the government construction works going on in the state, contractors should complete the work on time, otherwise penalty will have to be paid. He has also directed the sensor of Kantatoli flyover to complete the work and transfer it by April. If you do not do so, you have also been warned of paying a penalty. It is noteworthy that recently the Chief Minister himself had inspected the Kantatoli flyover and had also given instructions to complete the work within the stipulated time.

The contractors get the estimate amount increased by lying down.

The Chief Minister said that often contractors deliberately delay the work, due to which the deadline is missed. After this the sensors used to put pressure to increase the cost of the scheme. They used to argue that the cost has increased due to increase in the rates of construction materials. But this will not happen now. The estimated amount of any scheme will not be increased by amending it. CM says that when the contractors take the work, they know very well in how many days the work will be done. What problems can arise? All work is taken only after careful assessment. Then how is the delay after taking up the work? Delay puts additional burden on the government, which will not be allowed to happen now.
