The estimated amount of any scheme will not be increased by amending it. CM says that when the contractors take the work, they know very well in how many days the work will be done. What problems can arise? All work is taken only after careful assessment. Then how is the delay after taking up the work? Delay puts additional burden on the government, which will not be allowed to happen now.
