In this, various factors and areas have been studied for air pollution such as domestic, commercial, industry, construction activities, open burning and road dust etc. Addressing the program, Pollution Board scientist Sanjay Srivastava said that the state government has given priority to reducing air pollution as an important public issue.

Clean air action plan ready

According to the National Clean Air Programme, Clean Air Action Plans for three cities (Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad) have been prepared by the State Pollution Control Board and are being implemented.
