The glory of the Lord has shone upon us all: Bishop Baske

Speaking at the midnight communion service at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Bahubazar, Bishop Bibi Baske of CNI Chhotanagpur Diocese said that Isaiah saw a great light and announced that a child is born to us, a son has been given to us. It was certain that God would break the darkness of Satan with the birth of His Son in human flesh to a virgin woman in a lonely, dark, still place in Bethlehem. As an outsider looking in, how helpless and weak this child in the manger of Bethlehem looks. It was all in God’s eternal plan. God did not send any victorious warrior from above. He sends the child born and He gave His own son to become a great light. Are we still living in dark days, dark times, dark thoughts? But we do not need to be afraid, to be afraid, to be afraid of our sins, of dying, or of anything in all creation. The glory of God has shone upon all of us. The victory has been won, because Jesus was born for us all, lived for us all, died for us and rose from the grave for us all. The angel declares Him to be what He is: Christ, the Savior.

The coming of the Lord brought the message of love to the world: Rev. Bhengra

The Holy Night service of JIEL Church was held at Christ Church, Main Road. In this Rev. Anup Jolly Bhengra said that we are celebrating the birthday of Jesus. People in the world have been most influenced by his life, because his arrival brought the message of love to this world. The Son of the Creator of the world took human form. For this he chose a family which was financially weak. The parents he chose were righteous in the eyes of God. He belonged to the most prestigious family of Israel, the family of King David. On one hand he was financially poor, but belonged to a prestigious family. This shows that being poor or having a large family does not matter, but their being righteous does. God sent His Son, chose a family and gave His Son to Mary and Joseph. Similarly, God has revealed himself in our lives also. Those who accept them in their lives, allow God’s will to be fulfilled in their lives, let us also let this happen in our lives. The worship service was led by Rev. Nishant Gudiya. The second service was led by Rev. Nishant Gudiya. Bishop Seemant Tirkey gave the message.

Birth festival is the result of God’s love: Bishop Kujur

Bishop Nistar Kujur delivered the message at the holy night service of NWGEL Church. In the liturgy held at Christ Church Main Road, he said that the birth festival is the result of God’s love. God expressed his love for us through his Son. Because through him he forgives our sins. Make us your children. But we do not attain salvation naturally. We are not children of God by nature. It is only by being united with God through Jesus that we become His children completely. He said that Maryam was from Dawood family. That’s why the angel Gabriel says to Mary, O Mary, do not be afraid, because God has favored you. The worship ceremony was conducted by Rev. Jesus Nazarene Minz.
