Jharkhand Cabinet Decisions|Residences will be built for 11 cabinet ministers in the smart city being built in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Rs 114.47 crore will be spent on this. This proposal was approved in the cabinet meeting held on Monday (February 12) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Champai Soren. Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel gave this information.

The cost of building a house for 69 ministers increased from Rs 69.90 crore to Rs 114.47 crore.

The Cabinet Secretary said that the estimated expenditure on the construction of the residence of Cabinet Ministers was Rs 69.90 crore. Now this expenditure has increased to Rs 114 crore 47 lakh 21 thousand 100. He told that some facilities have been added to the house, due to which the expenditure has increased. Facilities like modular kitchen and lift etc. have been increased in the residence.

Jamshedpur will get a law college

There is a good news for Kolhan division also. Approval was given to adopt and establish the law faculty running in Jamshedpur Co-operative College under Kolhan University, Chaibasa, as Jamshedpur Co-operative Law College.

New system will be made for Jharkhand eligibility test

Approval was given to formulate JET Examination Conduct Rules for conducting Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) for appointment of assistant professors and admission to PhD in universities, constituent and affiliated colleges (including grant-in-aid minority colleges) of Jharkhand state.

Jharkhand Technical Education Service Rules, 2023 will be formed

The formation of Jharkhand Technical Education Service Rules, 2023 was approved for recruitment and service conditions for appointment to teachers and other posts in the Directorate of Education, Government Engineering Colleges and Government Polytechnic Institutes.

Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2023 will again be presented in the Assembly.

The Council of Ministers approved re-introduction of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2023 in the upcoming budget session of the Jharkhand Assembly to enact the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2023.
