Dhanbad: Snowy wind increases, light clouds will prevail from today
The effect of cold has increased in the district. Wednesday morning also started with fog. Besides, the blowing icy winds have increased the difficulty. Due to clear weather during the day, the sun gave some relief, but as the evening approached, Kankani started showing its effect. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature has increased by two degrees on Wednesday as compared to Tuesday. The minimum temperature has increased from 11 degrees to 13 degrees, but the winds have increased the effect of cold. Due to this people are feeling severe cold. Light clouds are expected from Thursday. According to the department, an increase in temperature will be recorded due to the arrival of clouds. However, the maximum temperature will remain around 23 degrees. There are chances of light rain on January 5 and 6.
Buses started opening from Dhanbad, passengers got relief
The drivers’ strike ended on the third day on Wednesday after the assurance of Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla. After this, all passenger buses have started plying from Bartand bus stand located in Dhanbad. However, some buses could not open due to lack of drivers. All buses will start operating normally from Thursday. Passengers have also got relief after the drivers’ strike ended. State President of All India Driver Welfare Association Avtar Singh said that the strike has been postponed after the assurance of the Union Home Secretary. Despite this, if the black law is not withdrawn, the drivers of the entire country including Dhanbad, Jharkhand will protest.
