Sahibganj closed today, JMM takes out torch procession against ED
Sahibganj.JMM District Committee has called for Sahibganj bandh on January 17 in protest against the summons being sent by ED to CM Hemant Soren. On Tuesday evening, on the eve of the bandh, JMM workers took out a torch procession in Sahibganj. The procession taken out by JMM District Committee was led by MP Vijay Hansda, former Minister Hemlal Murmu and District President S Ansari. MP Vijay Hansda said that the central government and central agencies are trying to tarnish the image of the CM. This will not be tolerated. Hemlal Murmu said that the workers have called for a peaceful bandh in the city on Wednesday. He said that the opposition parties are harassing the government through central agencies.
