Civil Services (Backlog) PT today at eight centers of the capital for 10 posts

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is conducting the Civil Services Backlog Preliminary Examination (PT) on January 21 for 10 posts after almost six years. Eight examination centers have been made in the capital for about 3400 candidates. These include St. Anna Girls High School, St. John’s High School, St. Paul’s College, St. Xavier’s College, Ursuline Convent Girls’ High School, St. Paul’s High School, St. Anna Intermediate College and St. Alois Intermediate College. The examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift examination for General Studies first paper will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. The examination of General Studies Second Paper will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. Tight security arrangements have been made to ensure a malpractice-free examination. A control room has been set up in the JPSC office. Before entering, the candidates will be checked through metal detector, face ID etc. Candidates can bring with them only admit card, blue ball point pen, attendance sheet downloaded from the Commission’s website, their photograph, photo identity card etc. Have to reach the center 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. If you arrive late by 15 minutes after the start of the exam, you will not be allowed to enter. There is a provision for punishment for misconduct under the new statute made by the state government. In this, a fine of Rs 5 lakh to 10 crore can also be imposed along with imprisonment. It is noteworthy that the advertisement for this appointment was issued by the Commission in the year 2017 itself.
