Antisocial elements vandalized many temples in Mudma village.
Many temples were vandalized by some unknown people in Mudma village of Mandar police station area of Ranchi. The religious places that have been targeted by anti-social elements include Mahavir Temple, Chhota Bajrangbali Temple, Budha Mahadev and Madai Devi Mandap.
Murder of young man in Giridih
A young man was murdered in Madhuban, Giridih late on Thursday. The incident was carried out by his other colleague. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar. He is a resident of Maharashtra. After receiving the information, the police arrested the accused.
Process for enrollment in BHMS from today
Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board will start the process of special stray vacancy round for enrollment in BHMS from 17th November. Online application form has been invited from the candidates to appear in the vacancy round. Seat matrix will be released on 17th November. Online applications can be submitted till 19th November. State merit list will be released on 20th November. Candidates included in the list will be able to do online registration and give choices from 20th November. Its last date is 22 November. Provisional seat allotment letters will be issued from 23rd to 27th November, while document verification of recommended candidates will take place from 24th to 27th November.
MPs and MLAs will take stock of Chhath Ghats today
Ranchi: In view of the Chhath festival, on Friday, MP Sanjay Seth, MLA CP Singh, Naveen Jaiswal, Samri Lal, outgoing Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijayvargiya and corporation officials will inspect the Chhath ghats of the city. The inspection program will start from Hatnia Pond. After this, stock of Jail Pond, Chadri Pond, Nayak Pond, Banas Pond, Power House Pond, Button Pond, Argora Pond, Bada Pond and Madhukam Pond will be taken.
