Jharkhand: Bhagat brothers and Krishna Saha illegally mined 27.45 acres and gave 80 lakhs to Pankaj Mishra

The Enforcement Directorate on Saturday filed the second charge sheet in the illegal mining case in Sahibganj. Bhagat brothers and Krishna Saha have been made accused in the charge sheet. The report said that Twinkle Bhagat, Bhagwan Bhagat and Krishna Saha have done illegal mining on 27.45 acres of land. During this, two laborers died. To hide the death of the workers, the bodies were removed from the spot without informing the police. The accused gave Rs 80 lakh to Pankaj Mishra as a share in the earnings from illegal mining.

The Enforcement Directorate has mentioned this in the charge sheet. In the first charge sheet filed in the case of illegal mining, Pankaj Mishra, Bachchu Yadav and Prem Prakash were made accused. The ED has given the details of illegal mining done by Bhagat brothers and Krishna Saha in the charge sheet filed in the court of special PMLA judge on Saturday.

Referring to Twinkle Bhagat in the charge sheet, it has been said that Rs 28.50 lakh in cash was seized from the house of this accused during raids at the places of people involved in illegal mining in Sahibganj. Twinkle Bhagat had done illegal mining in Mauja Mundli and Bhutaha Mauja. During investigation, it was found that this accused extracted 69.34 lakh CFT stone by illegal mining in 3.18 acres in Mundli Mauza. This accused extracted 22.47 lakh CFT batch by illegal mining in Bhutaha Mauja. In the investigation of the transactions made from its bank accounts, Pankaj Mishra got the details of giving Rs 4.87 crore. During the investigation of Bhagwan Bhagat’s case, it was found that he had got lease on two plots in a total area of ​​13.13 acres.

One leased area was 7.15 acres and the other leased area was 5.98 acres. But this accused had mined in a total area of ​​21 acres. That means it has done illegal mining on 7.80 acres. During the investigation of this accused, it was found that he has taken mining challan only for 2.30 crore CFT. But many times more stone has been extracted through illegal mining. Evidence has been found that Rs 40-45 lakh was given to Pankaj Mishra in the transactions made from the bank accounts of the accused.

Referring to Krishna Saha in the charge sheet filed by ED, it was said that this accused had got lease on 6.13 area for stone mining in Chapande Mauza. But it had mined a total area of ​​12.60 acres. The accused did illegal mining on 6.47 acres more than the lease area and did money laundering. In the investigation of his bank accounts, information was received about giving Rs 25-30 lakh to Pankaj Mishra. Along with this, evidence has been found of depositing Rs 19 crore in cash in Saha’s account.
