Giridih: Of Jharkhand Giridih The police of Mufassil police station has today disclosed the case of murder of a woman resident of Madanpur-Bhaluai police station area on October 19 in Gamhra forest of Mufassil police station area of the district. Police have arrested two accused Karma Tudu and Bhudulal Marandi in this case. Police have also recovered two mobile phones from them. SDPO Anil Kumar Singh gave this information during the press conference on Thursday. SDPO said that among the arrested accused, Bhudulal Marandi has been to jail in the past also and is a criminal type of youth. He had earlier befriended the deceased. After this, they wanted to have illicit relations by luring her into the forest.
Woman’s body was found semi-nude
SDPO Anil Kumar Singh said that on October 19, the body of a woman was found in a semi-nude state near Gamhra forest of Mufassil police station area. The police took immediate action in this matter and first identified the woman and then started investigating the matter. The woman was identified as Manisha Devi, wife of late Shyam Lal Kisku, resident of Madanpur Bhaluai of Mufassil police station area. When the police started investigating the case, it came to light that the two accused youths Karma Tudu and Bhudulal Marandi had an evil eye on the woman.
Wanted to rape after friendship
SDPO Anil Kumar Singh said that both the youth first befriended the deceased. After this, on the evening of October 18, he reached Manisha on a bike and asked her to visit Bandarkuppi market and took her towards the forest on the way to Bandarkuppi and started trying to have illicit relations with her. When Manisha protested against this, the two youths beat her up and strangled her to death and fled from the forest leaving her body in a semi-nude state. SDPO Anil Kumar Singh said that among the arrested accused, Bhudulal Marandi has been to jail in the past also and is a criminal type of youth.
