Jharkhand: Attempt to make illegal recovery from goat loaded pickup van proved costly, four soldiers including ASI suspended

According to the information, Highway Patrolling Police caught a pickup vehicle (JH-15V-9519) loaded with goat on Friday evening. After this an attempt was made to bargain with the people carrying the goat. Without success, the vehicle was brought to Tilaiya police station. It is said that in the meanwhile the SP got this information. Taking the matter seriously, the SP directed to take action. After this, the police handed over about 75 seized goats to someone else on jimmenama, while the two people traveling in the pickup van were presented in the local court. However, the court immediately granted bail to both of them. According to the people traveling in the vehicle, they were going to Deoghar with a goat from Aurangabad in Bihar. Meanwhile the police stopped.

Koderma SP Anudeep Singh has suspended PCR Highway 1’s ASI Ravi Lal, Havildar Lala Ram, police jawans Ajay Singh and Gautam Kumar Singh in view of suspicious conduct. SP said that further action is being taken against them.
