After the death of Dheera Singh Rawat, a resident of Hathikeda village under Gurunanakganj police station in Ajmer district, the CRPF jawans got his body admitted to the CHC, Bishunpur. Where the doctors declared him dead. On receiving the information from the Bishunpur police, the dead body was sent to the Sadar Hospital, Gumla by the SHO after reaching the CHC. Lost his life while walking in the anti-Naxal campaign

He has said that on August 28, as per the duty prescribed in Plan No. 422, I and my seven companions left on foot from Jori Camp for anti-Naxal campaign in Rehaldag and surrounding areas of Bishunpur police station. Everyone was walking through the jungle-mountains. At around six in the evening, Dheera Singh Rawat fainted while walking. Simultaneously, he was given first aid by the ongoing first aid worker Rajkumar Pradhan. But, he did not regain consciousness, so Dheera Singh was admitted to CHC, Bishunpur for medical treatment with the help of the jawans accompanying him. Where Dheera Singh Rawat was declared dead after examination by the doctors.

I will pray to God to give strength to his family to bear the pain of his demise. He said that now the dead body is being sent to Ranchi through a vehicle. From there it will be sent to the destination via flight to their village.
