Jharkhand: 13 examinees went to jail for uproar and stone pelting at YBN University in Ranchi, read full news

Namkum (Ranchi), Rajesh Verma: Thirteen pharmacy examinees have been arrested and sent to jail on Wednesday evening for creating ruckus, vandalism and stone-pelting at YBN University located at Rajaulatu under Namkum in capital Ranchi. On the other hand, the family members of the candidates who were sent to jail declared them innocent. It may be known that the examinees of pharmacy had told about many inconveniences in the center by accusing the university of making its examinees sit in a separate room and take the examination.

These examinees went to jail

Among the arrested examinees Satyam Singh, father Shankar Singh, Aurangabad, Manjit Singh father Vanshi Singh, Latehar, Rajendra Nath Mahato father Nandlal Mahato, Nalinikant Mahato, father Uttam Kumar, both Purulia, Rakib Raja father Taslim Hussain, Sukurhutu Kanke, Mohammad Anam father Mazlum Hussain, Kanke, Ashish Kumar s/o Kishori Prasad Rajak, Gaya Bihar, Shashibhushan Gupta s/o Deenbandhu Sahu, Chainpur Palamu, Abdul Qudus Ansari s/o Abu Talib Ansari, Garhwa, Kunal Sinha s/o Kumud Sinha, Rishikesh Raj s/o Naresh Prasad Keshari, both Hazaribagh, Mukul Verma’s father Mukesh Kumar Verma Gumla, Syed Shakib Ashraf Mango Jamshedpur are included.

The family members of the examinee were gathered in the police station

The police was engaged in the process of sending the arrested examinees to jail. During this, the family members of the examinees were gathered at the Namkum police station. The family members were telling the examinees innocent.

A large number of police forces were deployed on Thursday

In view of the incident of ruckus and stone pelting in the YBN University campus on Wednesday, a large number of police forces were deployed in and around the examination center on Thursday. On Thursday also, the examinees tried to do bullying, but did not get furious because of the police.

All the accused were arrested with the help of CCTV footage

Station in-charge Inspector Sunil Kumar Tiwari told that the footage of CCTV cameras installed in and around the examination center was scrutinized. On the basis of this, all the accused identified have been arrested and sent to jail.

Ongoing examination of Diploma in Pharmacy

It may be known that the examination of Diploma in Pharmacy is being taken from May 29 to June 9, 2023 in YBN University. The candidates who had come to appear in the examination started ruckus, vandalism and stone pelting after the examination was over on Wednesday evening. After which the police lathicharged.
