JEE Main January session result released, Abu Bakar Siddiqui became Bihar topper by scoring 99.99 percentile.

JEE Main Result 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) released the result of JEE Main January session on Tuesday. 23 students got 100 percentile in the examination conducted in 10 shifts. This means that more than one student has got 100 percentile in many shifts. In this, Aarav Bhatt stood first, Rishi Shekhar Shukla stood second and Sheikh Suraj stood third. Along with this, the list of state toppers was released, which includes 53 students. In this, Abu Bakar Siddiqui of Kishanganj, Bihar has become the state topper. Siddiq has got 99.9923205 percentile. The data released also includes the list of category wise toppers. In the women’s category, Dwija Dharmesh Kumar Patel topped All India with 99.9991763. Category wise toppers list has also been released, which includes 27 students.

95.8% students appeared in the examination

JEE Main January exam for BE-B.Tech was conducted in 10 shifts between January 27 and February 1. The total number of registered students for BE-B.Tech was 12 lakh 21 thousand 624, out of which 11 lakh 70 thousand 48 students appeared for the examination. Of the total students who appeared for the exam, there were 7 lakh 88 thousand 234 boys and 3 lakh 81 thousand 808 girls. The examination was conducted at 544 examination centers in 291 cities of the country. Held in 21 cities outside the country.

The examination was conducted in 13 local languages

Apart from Hindi and English, this examination was conducted in 13 local languages. Out of 11 lakh 70 thousand 048 students who appeared in the examination, 3,92,640 of general category, 1,50,693 of EWS, 4,74,986 of OBC, 1,13,509 of SC and 38220 students of ST took the examination. In this way 95.8 percent students appeared in the examination. The results of two students have also been withheld.

NTA Score based on number of students appearing in each shift

Dr Vipin Yogi, Mentor and Zonal Head and Vice President of ALLEN Patna, said that the students were issued subject wise percentile NTA score and total NTA score in seven decimal places in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. This NTA score has been taken on the basis of the number of students appearing in each shift, because the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam conducted in different shifts varies. In such a situation, even at the same percentile, the raw scores of students in the examination conducted in different shifts are different.

AI and 5G jammers were used

This year, two national coordinators, 18 regional coordinators, 303 city coordinators along with 1083 observers were appointed for the examination. The examination was conducted with the help of 150 technical observers and 162 deputy observers. For the first time, CCTV and AI along with 5G jammers were used for the examination.
