At the Jawan success press meet, Atlee confirmed that the budget of Jawan was more than Rs 300 crore. Atlee said, “I narrated the film on Zoom call during the time of Covid. I know that the number of viewers in theaters was decreasing and people were not ready to give green signal to a film even costing Rs 30-40 crore. I know because I’m a producer too.
