Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan created a stir at the box office since its release. Atlee’s film is performing well at the domestic and global box office and is also earning huge sums.
Shahrukh’s movie left Gadar 2, Bahubali 2, KGF 2 behind in terms of earnings. On the 17th day, the film has defeated King Khan’s film Pathan.
According to the report, as per initial estimates, Jawan earned Rs 13 crore in India on its 17th day across all languages. It earned Rs 389.88 crore in the first week.
Jaawan did a business of Rs 136.1 crore in its second week and on its third Friday, Jaawan earned Rs 7.6 crore. Talking about total earnings, the movie has done a business of Rs 546.58 crore.
Shahrukh Khan’s movie Jawan has become the fourth highest grossing Hindi film. Let us tell you that King Khan left his own movie Pathan behind. Pathan’s lifetime collection at the domestic box office was Rs 543.05 crore.
Till Friday, Jawan earned Rs 953.97 crore worldwide. Soon the movie will also earn Rs 1000 crore, which is a record in itself.
Regarding the sequel of Jawan, Atlee had said, “If something strong comes to me for Jawan, I will make the second part. I have kept it open ended and I may come up with a sequel sooner or later. But one day I will definitely bring a sequel to Jawan.
Shahrukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi are playing lead roles in the film Jawan directed by Atlee. It also stars Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Lahar Khan, Girija Oak. While Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone have played cameo roles.
Some time ago, during a press conference in Mumbai, Shahrukh had said about the film, “This is a celebration.” We rarely get a chance to stay with a film for years. Due to Covid and lack of time, the construction of Jawan has been going on for four years.
King Khan had further said, a lot of people were involved in this film, especially people from the South who came and settled in Mumbai. Living in Mumbai for the last four years and working day and night for this film, which is the most difficult task till date.
