Special Cell of Delhi Police Hizbul Mujahideen A terrorist has been arrested on Thursday. The name of the arrested terrorist is Javed Ahmed Mattu. The police arrested Mattoo with a pistol, magazine and a stolen car.

There was a reward of Rs 10 lakh on Javed Ahmed Mattu.

Javed Ahmed Mattoo is a resident of Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. The police was searching for him for a long time. Police had a reward of Rs 10 lakh on Mattu’s head.

• Mattu is an A++ category commander of terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen.

• In 2019, Mattoo was included in the list of 10 most wanted terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir. The list includes Hizbul Mujahideen commander Riyaz Ahmed Naikoo, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Shopian district commander Wasim Ahmed alias Osama, Hizbul Anantnag district commander Mohammad Ashraf Khan and Baramulla district commander Mehraj-ud-Din and others.
