Jamtara: JSSC exam will be held on January 28 at nine centers in the district.

Jamtara: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC Shashi Bhushan Mehra regarding the preparations for conducting the Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination (JSSC-CGL). DC told that this examination is to be held on 28th January and 4th February. Instructions have been given to complete administrative preparations for this. A total of 09 examination centers have been set up in urban areas in the district, which include Savitri Devi DAV Public School, DN High School, JBC Plus Two High School, St. Joseph’s Public School, St. Anthony’s School, Adarsh ​​Middle School, Jamtara College, Inter Mahila College and CM School of Excellence Girls is included. A total of 3288-3288 candidates will participate in the examination on both the days. DC has directed to depute sufficient number of magistrates, police officers and police force at the examination center to conduct the examination free from malpractices. Section 144 will remain in force on the day of examination within a radius of 200 meters of all examination centres. Apart from installation of CCTV and jammer in the centers on the day of examination, the candidates were instructed to stop carrying mobile, calculator, smart watch etc. under any circumstances. On the occasion, ZIP President Radharani Soren, DDC Anilson Lakra, AC Surendra Kumar, SDO Ananth Kumar, DTO Ajay Kumar Tirkey, DEO Dr. Gopal Krishna Jha, DSE Deepak Ram and superintendents of the examination center were present.

Information given to students about road safety rules

A workshop on road safety was organized by the Road Safety Committee at Savitri Devi DAV Public School, Jamtara on Thursday. The workshop was inaugurated by SDPO Anand Jyoti Minj, DRSM Tausif Jelili, Maj Alam, Technical Assistant Satish Kumar Singh, Principal Dr. Vijay Kumar. SDPO informed the students about various rules related to road safety. Gave information about punishment and financial penalty etc. for not following traffic rules. Road Safety Month will be celebrated till 14th February. A drawing competition was also organized on this occasion. Principal Dr. Vijay Kumar told the students that safe transportation keeps life safe. Traffic rules should be followed in letter and spirit. So that our life remains safe.
