Jamshedpur: Uncontrolled bike collides with tree, youth dies

Jamshedpur: An uncontrolled bike collided with a tree on Wednesday afternoon near Badasigadi village on Hata-Musabani main road in Potka police station area. Due to which the bike driver died, while the youth sitting behind was injured. The name of the deceased is Diku Bhumij (21), who is a resident of Rangamatia of Sohda Panchayat, while the injured youth Rajendra Majhi is also a resident of Rangamatia. According to the information, Diku and Rajendra of Rangamatia were returning towards their home from Potka riding on the same bike. During this time, he could not control the bike near Badasigdi. As soon as the information was received, Potka police reached the spot and took both of them to Potka CHC, where doctors declared Diku dead, while Rajendra Majhi was sent home after first aid. According to doctors, there are no injury marks on Diku’s body, he died due to internal injuries due to not wearing a helmet. Potka police has sent the body to Jamshedpur for post-mortem.

Bike riding youth injured after being hit by highway, serious

A young man riding a scooter (JH05-DE-2466) got seriously injured when he was hit by an uncontrolled highway (JH-05-BT-3232) near Anna Chowk in Govindpur. The name of the young man is Utkarsh Raj. He is a resident of Govindpur Vatika City. Utkarsh has suffered serious injury on his leg. He has been admitted to TMH for treatment, where his leg will be operated. Tempo driver hits bus, two students and one woman injured

The tempo hit a parked bus on Tata Pigment main road under Jugsalai police station. In this incident, two students including a woman traveling on the tempo were seriously injured. He was taken to Sadar Hospital. The tempo driver escaped after the incident. After receiving the information, the woman’s husband Ranjit Kumar arrived.
