Jamshedpur: Two villagers died after being hit by an uncontrolled car on NH-18 in Chirugoda.

Ghatsila: Two villagers riding a bike died after being hit by a car on NH-18 in Chirugoda of Dhalbhumgarh police station area on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Mantu Gorai (42), resident of Kamarigora in Chakulia, and Ravi Gop (38), resident of Maudasholi in Dhalbhumgarh. Dhalbhumgarh police is bringing the people in the car to the police station and interrogating them. The people in the car also got hurt. The police is investigating the matter. According to the information, the car (WB 02 AM/0847) going from Jamshedpur towards Baharagora hit the bike (JH 05 AC/4197) and collided with the railing. Bike driver Mantu Gorai died on the spot. At the same time, Ravi Gop (38), sitting behind, has been referred to MGM from Ghatshila Sub-Divisional Hospital in critical condition. Brother-in-law Jagdish Gop told that Ravi Gop died during treatment in MGM. By the time the news was written, the family members of the deceased had reached MGM. After receiving the information, the family reached the sub-divisional hospital along with the head representative of Maudasholi Panchayat, Mangal Singh. The doctor said that the post-mortem of the body will be done on Tuesday.

Old man murdered by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon

Sugriva Gop (62), resident of Gop Tola of Bada Raikman village under Kumardungi police station of Chaibasa, was murdered by unknown criminals by slitting his throat with sharp weapons. Later the body was thrown into a well on the banks of the forest at Unduda Seeman in Bada Raikman. During the search, a dead body was found in the said well on Monday morning, after which the police was informed. Police reached the spot and took out the body from the well with the help of villagers. There were wounds on the neck of the deceased. The intestines of the stomach had come out. The police have conducted Panchnama and sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
