Jamshedpur: Bisix employees of Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur plant will get the gift of confirmation on Thursday. A tripartite agreement will be signed between the management and Tata Motors Workers Union at 11:30 am in the Labor Commissioner’s Office, Ranchi, on the permanentization of Bisix employees and continuation of ward registration and other points. In the presence of Labor Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Besra and Deputy Labor Commissioner Rakesh Prasad, Tata Motors Vice President Vishal Badshah, Plant Head Ravindra Kulkarni, HR Head Mohan Ganta and other top officials of the company and Union President Gurmeet Singh Tote and General Secretary RK Singh will sign the agreement. . Company’s Vice President Vishal Badshah is coming to Ranchi from Pune.

More than 600 bicycles will be permanent in the first phase

Under the agreement, more than 600 bicycles will be permanent in the first phase. The management and the union have agreed to make approximately 2,700 Bisix employees of the company permanent. However, after the agreement on Thursday, it will be known in what proportion and in how many years the permanentization of BYSIX employees will be completed.

Will be permanent after FTA and two years diploma

Ward registration will continue in Tata Motors. Now the employee’s son will undergo full term apprentice (FTA) training for three years. After this, after completing the diploma, the employee’s son will be permanently reinstated in the company. After the permanentization of Bisix employees, a way has been found through talks between the management and the union for the reinstatement of the sons and daughters of the employees. With this, the employee sons will know at the time of registration when they will become permanent in the company. Earlier they were directly employed in BYSIX, later the management and union together started employing them through TMST (Tata Motors Skill Training) instead of direct temporary workers.

The tripartite agreement was signed for the first time in 1972

At the time of United Bihar, a tripartite agreement was reached in the year 1972 regarding the reinstatement of the children of Telco (now Tata Motors) employees. It was decided that the company would train and employ employee sons every year. After this, the process of registration of children of employees started in the company.

The agreement was amended in the year 2005-06

In the year 2005-06, the agreement was amended under the chairmanship of the then Labor Commissioner Nidhi Khare. It was decided that through TMST pool, the management would employ 200 employee sons in the company every year.

There has been a tradition of making permanent with bonus in Durga Puja.

Gopeshwar, former General Secretary of the then Telco Workers Union, had started the tradition of permanentization of Bisix employees with bonus during Durga Puja. After Gopeshwar, this tradition continued during the tenure of Chandrabhan Singh and Prakash Kumar and RK Singh, General Secretary of Tata Motors Workers Union. The tradition continued even during the Corona infection and economic recession. Even during the Corona period, 221 Bicycle workers were made permanent in the Jamshedpur plant.

Committee member released from duty for a day to go to Ranchi

Members of Tata Motors Workers Union and RK Singh Fans Club are also going to participate in the agreement to be held in Ranchi on Thursday. These members have been released from duty for a day.
