Jamshedpur: Mosquito outbreak increased due to lack of fogging, student died of dengue in Saldoha village.

Student Pooja Patar (17) died of dengue on Thursday in Saldoha village of Pathra Panchayat. The deceased’s father Nitai Patar and the villagers expressed their displeasure. Villagers Anurag Das, Shubham Bhol, Baril De, Birendra Bhol, Sudesh Bhol, Santu Bhol, Raja Bhol said that fogging was never done in the village. The panchayat was given a fogging machine several months ago. There are heaps of garbage in the village. The incidence of mosquitoes has also increased. Frequent fogging would reduce the incidence of mosquitoes. Due to lack of fogging in the village, the outbreak of dengue and malaria has increased. Pooja’s father Nitai said that he has not yet got the benefit of Prime Minister’s residence and toilet. He runs his family by working as a labourer. After receiving the information, former MLA Kunal Shadangi met the family members and consoled them and provided financial support. Said that he will talk to Civil Surgeon Dr. Jujhar Manjhi and get whatever solution is available. Arrangements will be made for fogging and spraying of powder to drive away mosquitoes in the village.

Condolence meeting at Manushmudiya University

Manushmudiya University Principal Chhota Bhujang Tudu said that a condolence meeting was organized in the school and the holiday was declared. The family has been provided financial assistance by the school family.

Medical Officer in-charge of Baharagora, Dr. Utpal Murmu said that after admission, considering the condition of the patient, he was referred to Jamshedpur. He had jaundice along with dengue. The family members were engaged in exorcising. If more people in the village have fever, then a camp will be organized in the village itself to test dengue.
