Jamshedpur: MLA Saryu Rai has made a new revelation against Dhulu Mahato, the declared candidate of BJP from Dhanbad Lok Sabha constituency, saying that Baghmara MLA Dhulu Mahato has bought a lot of property in the name of his son. He (Saryu Rai) has given this information to BJP leaders. He said that he will also hand over the documents related to this to the ED. Shri Rai issued a statement saying that on April 10, he had made public the details of land worth about Rs 2.06 crore purchased by Dhulu Mahato’s son Prashant Kumar. Now new information is being given, under which evidence has come to light that Prashant Kumar has additionally purchased 11 plots of account number 83, 97 and 110 in Tumadaha Mauza of Govindpur area, whose total area is 01 acre 49 decimal.
The price of these plots is more than Rs 50 lakh
Saryu Rai said that according to the minimum rate set by the government for purchasing land in Govindpur area, the price of these plots is being estimated at more than Rs 50 lakh. Shri Rai has also issued the land purchase and mutation and transfer case number 18905/2021-2022 filed in the zonal office and the receipt of the tax paid in this Jamabandi.
Detailed description of names of benami immovable properties and companies
The MLA said that he also has detailed details of the names of a large number of benami immovable properties and companies purchased by Dhulu Mahato and his family members. These companies had reached the verge of bankruptcy two years ago. In the last 04 years, huge amount of immovable property has been purchased in these companies, which includes plots, built structures and machinery of hard coke industry, flower mill etc. Many of these plots are located in Tumadaha Mauza of Govindpur area. These companies are still active in the documents of ‘Registrar of Companies’ and are also paying GST and Income Tax. The value of these immovable assets is much higher than the value of the total taxable assets underlying them. After matching the information received about such persons and companies with the official documents, Mr. Rai has said that he will soon make it public for the information of BJP leaders. Mr. Rai has said that this case is a concrete example of disproportionate assets.
