Jamshedpur: After becoming the Chief Minister, Champai Soren will visit his home Jillinggora today for the first time.

Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Champai Soren will come to his ancestral residence Jillinggora on Wednesday at 12.30 pm. Champai Soren is coming for the first time after becoming the Chief Minister. JMM leader Mahavir Murmu said that the father of Chief Minister’s private secretary Guru Prasad Mahato has passed away. Chief Minister Champai Soren will attend his cremation. After this he will also go to his native village Jilinggora. Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration has constructed a helipad near Tiruldih, where their helicopter will land tomorrow. Apart from this, as an alternative, they can also go to Tiruldih and Jillinggora by road via Sonari Airport.

After assuming the post of Chief Minister, Champai Soren reached his home district Seraikela for the first time on Tuesday evening. The Chief Minister reached Seraikela near Birsa Chowk at around 6.25 pm. Here paid tribute to the statue of Lord Birsa Munda by garlanding it. As soon as the Chief Minister got down from the vehicle, a crowd of workers gathered to meet him. CM accepted the greetings of the people. After this, he told the journalists that he will try to bring changes in the standard of living of Jharkhandis by giving impetus to Hemant Babu’s schemes. The state government will work to provide all sections of people their rights and entitlements. DC Ravi Shankar Shukla and SP Dr Vimal Kumar welcomed the Chief Minister with a bouquet. A large number of workers including SDO Parul Singh, MLA representative Sanad Acharya were present on the spot.
