Meanwhile, regarding the Anantnag encounter, officials said that the security forces are searching in the dense forest area through drones and helicopters. It is believed that the terrorists are hiding in this place after the martyrdom of two army officers and a Deputy Superintendent of Police in the initial encounter on Wednesday.
Officials said that there are many cave-like hideouts in the forest area. Drones are being used to attack terrorists and find out their exact location. In footage obtained from a drone, a terrorist was seen running away after security forces opened fire on a hideout on Friday.
