This has happened after midnight action where many people of my party have been illegally detained in police stations. In another tweet, he wrote, ‘On one hand, huge hoardings have been put up all over Srinagar calling upon Kashmiris to celebrate the illegal abrogation of Article 370. The PDP had earlier said that it has invited like-minded parties from Kashmir for the event to be held at Sher-e-Kashmir Park near the PDP headquarters here. A PDP spokesperson said, “Our representative was informed around 5 pm on August 4, 2023, that the permission sought has been denied without assigning any reason.” He said permission was denied to the PDP, but allowed by the BJP to hold an event at Jawahar Nagar Park and later to hold a rally from Nehru Park to SKICC to “celebrate” the abrogation of the two articles.
