South Kashmir Suspected terrorists opened fire on security forces in Bijbhera area of Anantnag district on Thursday evening. A jawan has suffered minor injuries in this incident. The injured jawan was admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment. Jammu and Kashmir Police said, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. Detailed news is still awaited.
Two terrorists killed in encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla
Security forces killed two terrorists in an encounter in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. According to the police, acting after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in Vanigam Payen Kriri area of Baramulla district in North Kashmir, the security forces cordoned off and launched a search operation in the early hours. Meanwhile, the terrorists started firing. After which the security forces retaliated. Two terrorists were killed in retaliation. Incriminating material, arms and ammunition including an AK 47 rifle and a pistol were recovered from the encounter site.

Terror funding case: NIA raids in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday in connection with its ongoing investigation in a case related to terror financing Jammu and Kashmir Raided several locations in Kishtwar. Different teams of NIA raided and searched five places in Kishtwar. The probe agency is carrying out searches at the houses of people associated with banned organizations and persons involved in terrorist activities.
