New Delhi, Bureau: Union Minister of State for Electronics & IT and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Monday said that Congress leader Jairam Ramesh now wants to play the flop role of former Union Minister P Chidambaram and former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan. Rajeev Chandrasekhar called Jairam a spinmaster
Responding to the tweet, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar called Jairam a spinmaster. He said, ‘He (Jairam Ramesh) wants to play the flop role of Chidambaram and Raghuram Rajan. He is calling the achievements of PM Narendra Modi’s government a jhumla. In 2016, Chidambaram had called Jan Dhan Yojana (JDY) and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) a jumla. Today JDY and DBT has become a shining example of empowerment of the poor. Under this, economic inclusion got a boost and more than 50 crore bank accounts of the poor have been opened, in which two lakh crore rupees have been deposited.

The Minister of State said that Raghuram Rajan ruined the financial sector during the tenure of the UPA government. He tried to sabotage the economic policies of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during the Corona pandemic and destroyed electronics manufacturing. Today India is the fastest growing economy and with exports of more than Rs 1 lakh crore, India is the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world.

The Minister of State said, ‘Jairam Ramesh forgot to mention that out of the 42 crore workforce left by his government in 2014, three out of every four Indians were unskilled.
