Jagannath Rath Yatra 2023: Lucknow. In Lakhanpuri, the 99th anniversary of Jagannath Rath Yatra, which started from Marwari since 1924, will be organized on 20th June i.e. tomorrow. This year too, like last year, a grand procession will be organized. Surya Prakash Pathak told BollywoodWallah that up to the fourth generation of some families of the street will participate in this festival. As it is well known that the devotees come to the temple to meet God and worship him, but there comes a day in the year when God goes to meet his devotees at their door, where the devotees come from their homes on the chariot of the Lord. They are welcomed by showering flowers in the form of devotion. The enjoyment of mixed pulses and berries is dear to God. People offer clove paan, mango, jamun mixed pulses to the Lord and perform aarti. Most of the people worship with full devotion only after taking bath before Aarti and wearing new clothes. But in view of Corona, the Shobha Yatra will not be organized this year as in the past.
