IT Workers Association approached Labor Department against Tata Consultancy Services, know the reason

Tata Consultancy Services has sent transfer notices to more than two thousand of its employees simultaneously. Giving information about this, Nascent Information Technology Employee Senate (NITES), an employee rights organization of the IT sector, has said that the company has directed all the employees to join the transferred location in the next 15 days. NITES has now reportedly filed a complaint against Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with the Labor Ministry. According to an Economic Times report, NITES, in its letter to the ministry, has alleged that the company is forcibly transferring more than 2,000 employees. TCS is sending emails to the employees informing them about their transfer to other places including Mumbai. The email reportedly said the transfer was necessary due to business needs. According to the email sent to employees, employees will have to report to the new location within two weeks and will be reimbursed later. Most of the employees to whom the transfer e-mail has been sent are in the 1-2 years experience category, a large section of whom come from the Hyderabad base location.

Mail is being sent to employees since the month of August

According to the report of Moneycontrol, e-mails are being sent to the employees since the month of August for transfer. Employees have been instructed to join their locations within two weeks. It has been said that action will be taken against those employees who do not do so. The travel and accommodation expenses of the transferred employees will be paid by the company later. Following the company’s mail, more than 180 TCS employees had complained to the Nascent Information Technology Employee Senate.

What do company employees say

Employees say that the company is sending them to another city without their consent and complete information. Due to this they will have to face problems. NITES President Harpreet Singh Saluja has said that Tata Consultancy Services did not take into account the family and financial problems of the employees while taking the decision of transfer. Due to the company’s decision, the employees have to face a lot of trouble. Following the company’s order, more than two thousand employees went to the transferred places. At present 150 to 200 employees are still stuck.

What answer did TCS give?

According to media reports, when asked about the transfer of employees, company officials said that the transfer decision was completely a routine decision. This decision has been implemented mostly for freshers candidates. Who have received training at different places. Now they are being deployed for their real projects. However, the company refused to say anything on the allegations of the employees. It is noteworthy that recently Tata Consultancy Services had given another decision. In this, it was made mandatory for the employees to come to work from office five days a week.
