Chirkunda (Dhanbad): Kolkata Income Tax Department’s raids at City Alloy Private Limited, located in Maheshpur, Kalyaneshwari Fandi, West Bengal, along with the residences of industrialists Vikas Gadyan and Gopal Singhal of Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and the residences of Chirkunda-Barakar, continued for the second day on Friday. Some Income Tax officers involved in the raid had also gone to City Alloy for some time from the residence of both the industrialists. According to the information, the process of making seizure list of the items seized from the house is going on.
Officers came in six vehicles
Income tax officials kept coming and going throughout the day on Friday. According to sources, as the raids continued at night, the family members of the industrialists as well as the officials present in the establishment remained worried. Income Tax Department officials had come in six vehicles to raid the residence in Chirkunda. Three vehicles in this went away on Friday morning.
Process of making list of seized goods continues
According to the information, the process of making seizure list of the items seized from the house is going on. Sources say that in the raid that was going on for more than 40 hours, the Income Tax Department has definitely caught a big case related to income tax evasion. However, this has not been disclosed yet at the departmental level.
