New Delhi : Czech Republic’s automobile manufacturer Skoda has introduced the new model of its popular and top selling car sedan Superb in the market. The company has made many important changes in the new car compared to the old model. Because of this, it is also being said that Skoda has made a car or has introduced a mobile shop with advanced and luxury features. This sedan is the fourth generation car of Superb. Sales of this car will be started in 2024. It is being said in media reports that the company will soon start sending its models to its dealers.
The company made major changes in the body
It is being told in the media reports that the company has made major changes in the body panel of the sedan Superb. Its LED matrix beam headlights are now much thinner than before, while the front grille is wider. A chrome strip has been given as a highlight in the bumper intake. It has become 43 mm longer. The company has also increased its boot space.
6 powertrain options will be available in the car
Along with this, it is also being told that next year the new generation Skoda Superb will be launched with 6 powertrains. It will be provided with 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine with 110 kW mild-hybrid technology, 2.0 TSI petrol engine with 150 kW and 195 kW battery pack. It can also get 2.0 TDI diesel engine with the option of 1110 kW and 142 kW hybrid setup. It also has a plug-in hybrid powertrain. All these engines are paired with manual or automatic gearbox.
How will the infotainment screen be?
Not only this, the interior of the new Skoda Superb has a 13-inch infotainment screen (Android Auto and Apple support) and a 10-inch driver display. It is also called virtual cockpit. Then there’s a rotary push-button to control the head-up display, air conditioning, seat ventilation, AV volume, drive mode and zoom level for navigation.
Nine airbags for passenger safety
Apart from this, it has been provided with nine airbags for the safety of passengers. The new generation Superb will also get premium upholstery, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a head-up display, a multifunctional steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. It has features like 9 airbags and anti-lock braking system (ABS) and level-2 ADAS technology. The ex-showroom price of this car can be fixed by the company at around Rs 35 lakh.
