ATS team interrogated Seema and her lover Sachin for several hours
Seema Haider was questioned for more than nine hours by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the Uttar Pradesh Police for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. A local police officer said that Seema Haider’s Indian partner Sachin Meena and her father Netrapal Singh have also been questioned. The official said that the three were picked up from their residence in Rabupura area of Greater Noida at around 8.30 am on Tuesday and brought to the ATS office in Noida at around 10 am, where they were interrogated till late evening. Seema Haider, Meena and Singh left the ATS office at around 8.15 pm. However, the ATS has not given any information nor made any comment regarding the re-interrogation of the three. This pair of woman and Indian man who came from across the border was questioned for the first time by Uttar Pradesh ATS at its office in Noida on Monday.
Who is Seema Haider
Seema Haider (30) is a resident of Sindh province of Pakistan, who was living in Karachi after her marriage in 2014. Seema and Sachin came in contact with each other in 2019 through the online video game PubG. After that Seema illegally entered India via Nepal and reached Delhi with her boyfriend Sachin (22). In March this year, Sachin and Seema met in Kathmandu, Nepal, where they lived together for seven days and got married secretly. After this Seema went back to Pakistan and Sachin returned to India. According to the police, Seema, who claimed to have a rift with her husband, returned home to Karachi and sold a plot for PKR 1.2 million and arranged visas and plane tickets to Nepal for herself and her children. Seema then came to India to marry her lover. Seema is already married and is also the mother of four children.
Court granted bail to Seema Haider and her alleged lover Sachin on July 7
Seema Haider (30) and Sachin Meena (22) were first arrested by the local police from Greater Noida on July 4, but were granted bail by a court on July 7. Although both were being monitored. Here the ATS team is still interrogating, along with the local police is separately investigating the case registered under the Foreigners Act, but it has not yet filed the charge sheet.

Police said, this message came from an international number. In this case, an FIR was registered under section 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (Threatening to cause death or grievous hurt) at Worli police station. Officials said that the police is probing whether ‘call spoofing’ technique was used to hide the identity.
