Design and features of BMW iX xDrive50
The design of this new car of BMW is quite similar to the xDrive40 variant available in the market. However, 22-inch alloy wheels have been provided as standard for riding in the top variant xDrive50. Along with this, it is equipped with 12.3-inch digital driver display, 14.9-inch infotainment system, 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charging and panoramic glass roof. For the safety of passengers, it has been provided with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), under which Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and Blind Spot Detection are also available.

The BMW iX xDrive50 has a heavy 111.5 kWh battery pack. When fully charged, it gives a certified range of 635 kilometers. It has two electric motors. One of which is mounted on the front and the other on the rear axle. This is an all-wheel-drive electric car. The motor installed in it is capable of generating maximum power of 523 PS and peak torque of 765 Nm. It takes just 4.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour.
Charging time of BMW iX xDrive50
The BMW iX xDrive50 electric SUV car supports fast charging of up to 195 kW. This car gets charged from 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes with a 195 kW DC charger. At the same time, with a 50 kW DC charger, it can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 97 minutes, with a 22 kW AC charger, it can be charged to 100 percent in 5.5 hours and with an 11 kW AC charger, it can be charged up to 100 percent in 11 hours.

Price and competition of BMW iX xDrive50
The BMW iX xDrive50 electric car is priced at Rs 1.4 crore, ex-showroom India, which is about Rs 19 lakh more than the entry-level variant xDrive40. In the market, it competes with Mercedes EQE SUV, Jaguar I Pace, and Audi Q8 e-tron.
