Palamu, Saikat Chatterjee : In the commemoration day of India’s international filmmaker, director and writer Satyajit Ray, IPTA has started a cultural school in Palamu. It started in the IPTA office at Redma in Medininagar on Sunday evening. IPTA’s national executive member Ravi Shankar told that every Sunday evening from 6 to 7 pm, a cultural school will be conducted in the IPTA office, in which artists, journalists, social workers, students associated with various organizations from across the district will participate. In the first session of the school, the inauguration ceremony was inaugurated in which popular social worker of Rajasthan Viren Lobo and country’s senior journalist and writer Tarun Kanti Bose were present as the chief guests.
It is very important to understand social structures
While conducting the program, Prem Prakash introduced the subject and explained in detail about the purpose of the school. Prakash said that without understanding the structure of the society, one cannot understand the story, drama, song-ghazal, article and political events and phenomena of the present time. It is necessary to understand the structures of the society. This is the demand of the present time.
Prem Bhasin and Nandlal Singh presided
Palamu’s senior wood draft artist Prem Bhasin and senior advocate Nandlal Singh jointly presided over the cultural school. Prem Bhasin said that Satyajit Ray had a deep connection with Palamu. He came to Palamu during the making of the film. His Bengali film Aranya Ratri made in Palamu was very popular. In fact, after that film, the interest of filmmakers arose towards Palamu. He said that Ray’s films used to see a wonderful combination of human relationships, family bonds and social fabric, this combination is now becoming mismatched, it needs to be understood.

Nandlal Singh said that Indian society is a complex society. To understand the complexity of the society, one has to understand the vision of all the people. The society is divided into many parts. The society is divided on the basis of caste, religion, richness, poverty. That’s why serious study and contemplation is needed to understand every aspect of the society, which can be done through this school.

Viren Lobo, a popular social worker of Rajasthan, while discussing the events happening in the present times, told the need to identify the elements causing disunity in the society. He said that we have to go through middlemen to meet the person whom we vote for. Which system is this that has been developed. Similarly, many other systems have been developed which create disunity in the society. To establish the Indian society by dissystemizing these systems, all classes will have to be united.
