After this, the movement of international flights will continue till March and through this the movement of foreign devotees and tourists will continue. However, recently the first chartered international flight of the tourism season has reached Gaya Airport from Vietnam. There is a possibility of starting direct air service to Sri Lanka soon.

Devotees also reach Gaya via Delhi and Kolkata.

Although to reach Gaya, foreign devotees also reach Gaya airport via domestic flights via Delhi and Kolkata, but after the resumption of direct air service from Thailand, Myanmar and Bhutan, most of the devotees travel through international flights only. . Gaya Airport Director Bangjit Saha said that a chartered flight will arrive from Vietnam on Monday and the movement of regular international passenger planes will start from October 14. For this, all kinds of arrangements have been made at the airport.

The first chartered flight with 193 passengers has reached Gaya.

As soon as October started, foreign chartered flights started arriving at Gaya Airport. Yesterday, a chartered flight of Vietnam Airways reached Gaya Airport carrying 193 passengers. Not a single passenger boarded the return flight. 193 Buddhist pilgrims who arrived here by chartered flight first reached Bodhgaya. Now the movement of passenger planes from Myanmar will start from October 14. After this, the movement of international passenger planes will continue till March.

Dalai Lama will come in December

According to the information, Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama Tanzin Gyatso will come to Bodh Gaya in the month of December. A special academic session will be organized under his leadership from 29 to 31 December. This has been announced on the official site of the Dalai Lama.
