Passengers ate food on the runway

The airline company did not even inform the passengers about the flight delay. Apart from this, the passengers were not even given a place to sit and eat their food properly, after which the passengers started eating their food while sitting on the runway, the video of which went viral on social media. After the video went viral, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia issued a show cause notice on IndiGo.

Angry passenger punched the pilot
High voltage drama was also seen in IndiGo flight yesterday. A passenger lost his temper when his flight was delayed and punched the pilot at Delhi airport. The high voltage drama continued inside the Indigo plane for a long time. The air hostess kept appealing for calm but the passenger’s anger was at its peak. As soon as he saw it coming, he attacked the pilot. It is being told that due to continuous delay in take-off of the plane and no information being received, the passenger lost his temper and punched the pilot. However, later the accused passenger was handed over to the police.

DGCA issued SOP
Here, after the incident, DGCA has also issued an SOP for all the airlines for better communication and convenience of passengers. DGCA, through its SOP, has asked all the airlines to share all the information regarding flight delays. DGCA has said that airlines should also share information through Whatsapp. Which contains all the information related to the flight. After this uproar, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that bad conduct of passengers is not acceptable under any circumstances. He said that this conduct will be dealt with strictly as per the existing provisions of law.
